Bringing Sport Directly to Children

Delivered after regular school hours, After-School Multi-Sports Action introduces children to a variety of sports in a familiar, supportive and low-pressure environment.

By bringing multiple sporting codes directly to one place, the program removes many of the barriers that can prevent children from participating. Families do not need to organise additional transport, travel long distances or commit to joining a club before a child has had the opportunity to explore what they enjoy.

The program provides a convenient and accessible way for children to experience different sports alongside their friends, build confidence, develop fundamental movement skills and discover activities they may wish to continue beyond school.

Through partnerships with local sporting organisations, Sports Society also helps create clear pathways from introductory experiences into ongoing community participation opportunities.
